Zeus
is a large boned confident male that has a heart of gold. He is best
suited for Therapy Dog, Animal Assistance Dog, PTSD and family guardian
or companion. He is attentive to his people, underfoot most of the time
to stay near and always making eye contact to stay in tune with his
handler. Zeus will alert to a strange noise at night with as fierce
bark to let you know something may not be right. He is sweet enough to
sleep with the kids, and still grab the intruder.
Zeus
is completely house trained and reliable. Will not jump on couch
or beds, he is trained to stay off furniture.He does not chew anything
that is not his. Zeus is a well mannered dog inside the home
and always is mindful of your feet and others. He goes to the backdoor
to be let outside to eliminate. If no one sees him go there, he will
whine and wait for someone to come let him outside. He is an inside
dog, so prefers to come back inside when he is finished. Can scale a
big flight of stairs in 3 seconds! Also catches a ball with
the kids.
This
boy loves, loves, loves his toys. Still young at heart, he rummages
through the toy box and takes out one toy at a time to play with them
all. Sorry, he is not trained to put them back at this time - LOL It
would be like having a toddler and a big toy box in the house again.
Zeus
has completed several Blue Star programs. He will heel on
command, automatic sit when the handler stops, circle right and left,
stay, down, sit on hand signal and verbal and recall (come on command)
He engages his handler well and is very willing to please. Will mature
close to 100 lbs, so will easily wear a work harness and be able to
pull a person up from the floor.His calm nature and careful footing
also make him an ideal dog for Elderly Security, Security to Physically
Challenged and Disabled, and Companion Security for Single Parents.
All
shots and deworming current to date. Zeus' toys and bed comes with
